Biography
professionally
My name is Brett Hack, and I am the Senior Graphic Designer for Salient CRGT in charge of multiple contracts. Recently, I also worked as a Multimedia Specialist for Florida Blue / Guidewell, and a Senior Graphic Designer at Andy Harold & Associates. Before that, I spent nine years as a graphic designer for the Central Intelligence Agency, owned my own exotic car detailing service, and worked for the Miami Dolphins football team where I first stood behind the camera at 12 years old.
Wherever I go, I set out to create a new standard for quality. I thrive off of learning and helping my colleagues learn, and I am always pushing to be better than I was yesterday. I was once told that my strongest asset was my ability to take even the craziest requests and turn them into something that tells a story. I specialize in government-level graphic design, vector diagrams, photo manipulation, and document duplication. I work exceptionally well under tight deadlines and heavy pressure, and I’m equally comfortable as any part of a team.
I take great pride in my flexibility. I can work on any hardware platform and with any software product. If I don't know it yet, I will learn it to get the job done. I try to always be the one you can turn to when you Need To Get It Done Right. I specialize in finding efficient, accurate, and repeatable methods to complete the tasks at hand, and I hold myself to the absolute highest personal standards of integrity and honesty.
Personally
But before all of that, I grew up in South Florida where I never knew a day without football. My dad worked for the Miami Dolphins, and I spent my life there with him. I learned to splice 16mm film before I could tie my shoes. He taught me to work hard and always push for perfection.
I never was any good at football though. As a 5'7" skinny kid, sports wasn't in my future. Instead I grew a love and addiction for all things automotive. I modified my first car on the way home from buying it. I've built and raced my own cars, worked on professional and amateur racing teams, and now spend my free time turning wrenches on TransAm racecars as well as my own project car.
In short, I am a blessed and happy man. I am married to my high school sweetheart, a father to an amazing eight year old boy, I live at the beach, and I still can't stop messing with cars. I have a pack of huge English Mastiffs, a 21 year old cat, and a snake named after the dude from Evil Dead.
